This women-only pistol class is designed to provide a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for women of all skill levels.
You'll learn:
-Firearms safety and handling
-Proper grip, vision, and trigger control
-Defensive shooting fundamentals
-Situational awareness and mindset for personal protection
Our goal is to help you build confidence, competence, and the ability to protect yourself and those you love. Taught by experienced, respectful instructors, this class is judgment-free, hands-on, and focused on real-world skills you can trust.
No prior experience required. Just bring an open mind—and be ready to walk away stronger.
This is an 8 hour (with a lunch break) class.
We will start in the class room and finish class at the outdoor range where we will put what we learn into practice.

9:30 AM – 10:30 AM | Handgun 101
-Parts of a handgun
-How handguns function
-Ammunition basics
-Safe loading/unloading
-Fundamentals of marksmanship
10:30 AM – 11:00 AM | Dry Fire Practice
-Fundamentals of marksmanship
-Sight alignment & sight picture
-Trigger press
-Safe drawing from the holster (if applicable)
11:00 AM – 12:30 PM | Live Fire Session #1: Fundamentals
Live fire warm-up: one shot at a time
-Grouping drills
-Controlled pairs
-Immediate feedback and coaching
12:30 PM – 1:15 PM | Lunch Break
1:15 PM – 2:45 PM | Live Fire Session #2: Building Confidence
-Malfunction clearing (tap/rack)
-Reloads (emergency and tactical, if appropriate)
-Shooting from low ready or draw
-Shot accountability drills
2:45 PM – 3:00 PM | Break & Q&A
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Live Fire Session #3: Applied Skills
-Realistic defensive scenarios
-Introduction to movement or use of cover (optional)
-Timed confidence drill or mini-qualification
-Final round of coaching and practice
4:00 PM – 4:30 PM | Debrief & Wrap-Up

If you have not purchased a handgun, we advise that you wait till after the class to do so.
No live ammunition permitted inside of the classroom.
Loaner handguns and ammunition are available for use for additional cost.
